This week, Navisite announced its acquisition of EightCloud, a leading specialty Salesforce consulting company. The acquisition will enhance Navisite’s enterprise application, data management and cloud services portfolio with comprehensive Salesforce advisory, implementation and managed services. According to a new survey report, cloud adoption continues to grow. In fact, 30% of respondents cited cost management as the most important initiative pertaining to public cloud adoption. When it comes to the IT talent gap, tech leaders are getting creative in order to solve this talent crunch. A new report found that out of 2,100 digital leaders surveyed, more than half are planning to cross-train workers from other parts of their company (and they are planning to rely on internships, too).
